Boat Ramp Bass
We had just gotten a boat in the water and were waiting for Tommy Biffle to pick up Dad to fish in his boat while I fished with Gary Dollahon in his boat. While we were were waiting in Mr. Dollahon's boat, I looked around and thought it looked like a nice hole for a bream, so I picked up a little bait and tried for a bream. Dad had bigger plans, he picked up a crankbait, threw it out and caught a bass. So, of course I had to try. I got my crankbait, a Sebile Crankster, and first cast nothing. Second cast had about a 5-pound bass break the line right by the boat. I tried again and caught a smaller bass. Then Mr. Biffle got there picked up dad. They caught a lot more fish then Mr Dollahon and I, but Mr Dollahon got the best photo fish. We got lots of good pictures of the fish. Then it was back to the boat ramp. I picked up a Gene Larew Salt Head Shaky Worm rigged on Jewel Squirrel Head Jig and caught two more fish!
