The Weekend

I had another great weekend on the pond. On Saturday I caught five fish. One of the fish was about 4 pounds, which is the biggest fish I have seen in the pond. It was on a Booyah spinnerbait, as was one other fish. Then I lost that bait. Two more fish were on a Yum Wooly Hawgtail on a Road Runner Head. The fifth was also on a Wooly Hawtail, but it was Texas rigged.

Sunday I went out there at about in the morning around 9:00. It was very cloudy. I started out with a spinerbait and caught one fish on one lap around the pond, so I went back to the dock and put on a Booyah jig with a Craw Papi as a trailer. I got lots of bites on that but could not get a hook in them, so I put on another Booyah jig with a Wooly Hawgtail as a trailer. I caught two fish on that dragging it slow -- very slow. When the sun came out, it started to get better, I caught one on topwater, then I caught some on Yum Dingers, Wooly Hawgtails, and Big Show Paddle Worms, which are all Yum Baits. I caught 13 fish over the course of the day!
