Icy Pond Comfort

Lately the conditions still haven't been good enough for the fishing at the pond. It has had quite a bit of ice around it, and we even have had icy roads. But my comfort is that later this week my dad and I will be at one of my favorite places - Blacks Camp. It is one of the simplest places dad and I go, and that is why it is one of my favorites. It is a true fish camp at Santee Cooper with nice people, big fish and great meals.

And then, in a couple of weeks, we will be ice fishing in Colorado, which will be a totally new kind of fishing to me!

So I guess I can handle an icy pond for a while.
