Arakansas Awesomeness

It seems like every time I fish in Arkansas something good happens. I mean, Arkansas is home to Dry Run Creek, The White River, The Buffalo River and so many other great fisheries.

Dry Run Creek
My last visit to Arkansas was no exception. I got to fish Dry Run Creek, which you may or may not know is a youth-only trout stream. It is also probably my favorite place to fish. The trout were not biting very well, but I still managed to pull in a couple of beautiful brown trout on a Lindy Fuzz-E Grub. To see a neat perspective of me catching a fish at Dry Run Creek check out the video at the bottom of the blog.

Fishing The Buffalo River
I spent the next day fishing The Buffalo River. The smallmouth bite was not great. But catching fish is really just a bonus at The Buffalo River. I mean it really doesn't get much better than floating down an incredibly beautiful river in a canoe and fishing along the way!
