Mission Unaccomplished

So far my fishing action for this year has been pretty slow. Slow as in I haven't caught a fish yet this year!

I thought that surely I would get a fish last week at the usually dependable Nantahala River. But instead, for the first time ever, I caught zero trout at the Nantahala. Even more surprisingly, over the course of the day, I only saw a couple of trout swimming
around in the water.

Yesterday, I again thought for sure I had my first fish in the bag. Dad and I were about to head out to the pond to catch some bass and bluegill....But not being able to back up our driveway kind of killed that plan.

So the search continues...as soon as everything thaws out a little bit.
