Determination and Fishing
Sunday's fishing was a reminder to me about how sometimes determination can play a big role in a fishing trip. On Saturday afternoon there was a 100% chance of rain for Sunday. But my friend Caleb and I had been looking forward to our North Carolina trout trip for weeks in advance, so 100% was not quite enough to deter us.
We got to Big Snowbird Creek at about 8:00 AM. We caught about 15 fish there in a couple of hours, on all sorts of different lures. Then we headed down to the Nantahala River where we spent about 30 minutes and caught 6 fish including our biggest fish of the day.
