More NC Trout Fun

As fun as it was fishing the Nantahala River on Monday, I think that Saturday's action on Big Snowbird Creek was even better.

I have heard a lot of good things about Big Snowbird, but this was the first time that I've actually gotten to fish it. Originally we planned to fish the delayed harvest section of the stream, but a muddy road along with my dad's Ford Fiesta forced us to fish about a mile down stream of there. So we fished the creek all the way to where the delayed harvest starts, by the time we got there we had caught 19 fish including 2 really solid rainbows. And the best part of all, we never saw another fisherman.

Can't wait to visit NC again, hopefully sometime in the near future!
