My First Spring Fishing of 2015

I only caught one fish yesterday during a quick pond outing. But I was very encouraged to see a lot of bass cruising up shallow, which definitely seems to suggest that spring is here, or is very close.

I caught the fish while sight-fishing with a Yum Dinger, which is one of my absolute favorite ways to fish this time of year. Feeling very excited about doing some more spring fishing over the next few weeks!
