Fun Day on the White River

Today we had a really good day of fishing on the White River with long time White River guide Paul Jones. The first half of the day we were drifting with bait, and I caught two fish doing that: one rainbow trout and one brown trout; the brown trout being a 19-incher and about 4 pounds. Then we ate one of Gaston's amazing shore lunches. Then, after that, we got on the jerkbait bite and caught lots of rainbows. I caught my eight fish on a black back/gold body/organge belly XCalibur Xt3. I had heard at lunch that some people had been catching fish on gold jerkbaits, so I decided to use that one. It was a really fun day in one of my favorite places.
