Growing 4th of July Tradition

On the 4th, Dad and I went out to the pond for about 30 minutes. We caught a few fish before getting rained out. But it was fairly hot, so we didn't expect much and were very happy for three fish in a short amount of time. And something interesting is that a couple of years ago we went to a different pond with a friend on the 4th of July and it was in the 90's and really sunny. We only had about an hour and a half to fish, and we each caught about five fish.

So I am definitely going to go fishing on the 4th of July next year!
