I still haven't figured out the fish on the pond where I normally fish. I fished for about an hour and a half on Christmas day with my dad, and we only caught three fish between us that probably weighed around one pound (together).
So when I got to fish for a little while today I decided to take the time to drag the canoe to another pond on the property. The problem with fishing the other pond is that it takes time when you could be fishing to drag the boat down there. But it turned out to still be a very good decision. I only ended getting to spend about a half hour fishing, but I still caught three fish: two bass that were each around 1 pound and one little bluegill. And I missed few other strikes. I caught all of the fish on a Bobby Garland Baby Shad.
I can't wait till I have more time to fish in that pond!
