Last weekend the wonderful people that own the ponds where I fish informed me that they had decided to give me there 12-foot-long aluminum Jon Boat. I was so excited, thrilled and everything else because it is just the kind of boat that I have wanted for the last few years. It will be so much better than the canoe that I have always fished out of in the past. It will be especially nice when it is windy, it will be great to have a bigger boat and also to have an anchor and trolling motor. It needed one new seat, which I put on today. There are several other things that I would like to work on, but that is great for me because I will have it just the way I want it, and I will have the fun of working on it.
I am looking forward to fishing out of my boat a lot in the future!
