Fishing That Can't be Put Into Words

As a follow up to my last blog let me just say that all the storys people have told me about how good fishing out of Venice was did not do it justice! It was absolutely amazing! Let me explain.

Fighting a Powerful Redfish
Once the guides found where the fish were feeding all you had to do was simply drop your bait straight down and within seconds you would be engaged in a fight with a very powerful redfish. The redfish that we caught ranged from about 5 to 20 pounds, and all of them fought amazingly hard -- although not quite as hard as some of the sharks that we encountered. We had sharks attack our baits and some of the fish that we were reeling in. I could go on and on about the all of experiences I had while fishing there!

One of my Better Redfish
Thank you to Lawrence Taylor for providing me with the opportunity to fish there. Also thank you to Captains David Iverson, Carl Smith and Barnie White for showing me how great fishing in Louisiana is!

P.S. I almost forgot to mention, the food also lived up to my expectations!
