It Was Perfect

Everything was perfect, it was a cold rainy morning, I was fighting a big brown trout, in just the spot where a big brown trout should be. Plus I didn't break my leg when I followed the trout's example of jumping over a mini waterfall! I was even able to stick my arms all the way into the cold water and land the fish without a net!

All of that was so perfect! But seconds after catching the fish I realized that this fish needed be documented in a picture. Then I realized that I had roamed a long ways down stream from the rest of my group. A self picture was not going to cut it! And there was no cell phone signal by the river!

So the journey upstream began! After about every ten steps up stream I would hold the fish in the water so he could breath and stay in good shape. After about 200 yards of doing that I was almost ready to give up and let the fish go. But I kept on going, and about five minutes later
I finally saw my dad walking down the road! We got pictures of this beautiful trout, he swam away just as alive as when I caught him, and we all lived happily ever after!

The end!
