Arkansas Adventures

I had a great couple of days fishing and hanging out with outdoors friends in Arkansas last week. I got to stay at Gaston's Resort which is located right by the White River and is one of my favorite places in the world to stay. Along with days full of chasing and sometimes catching giant brown trout, it is pretty cool being around such a great fishing community full of cool people.

After a couple days of fishing out of Gaston's we headed over to Dry Run Creek. If you don't know about Dry Run Creek you can read about it Here, here, here, and here. As usual it was a lot of fun and I caught my biggest cutthroat trout ever! We are guessing that it was about five pounds, it was caught on an Xcalibur Twitch Bait.

It was also nice because when I left Georgia it was cold and when we got home it was warm. You know what that means....bass and brim to come!
