Arkansas So Far

Dad and I have been in Arkansas for about a day and a half so far. We have already caught five different species of fish!

Yesterday I got to fish Dry Run Creek. I only caught one fish, but as you can see in the picture it was a worth while fish. That beautiful brown trout was caught on a Lindy Fuzz-E-Grub.

This morning we fished Lake Norfork with bass pro John Murray. We caught a bunch of smallmouth, largemouth, a couple of spotted bass, along with one rock bass and one brim. We caught the fish on all sorts of baits in all sorts of different areas.

This afternoon we fished with longtime Lake Norfork fisherman Jim Byler. We caught dozens of bass all of them being caught dragging tubes. We caught a lot of our fish off of both main lake points and points inside pockets.
