Crossing the Creek

I have to admit right up front that I did not catch a single trout during dad's and my visit to the Smoky Mountains (although a few got off). However, I think I had almost just as much fun exploring the rivers and creeks in the Smokies. Of course, that is one of my favorite parts about wade-fishing Even when you don't catch fish, you can always have some sort of adventure!

During the couple days those couple of days in the Smokies I...scared a snake, got scared by a snake, took pictures, waded in really cold creeks and crossed creeks via trees and rocks, along with lots of other adventures!

P.S. Watch out Smoky Mountain tubers...I coiled up a brown rope I found and placed it on a rock so it looks a lot like a snake. Hopefully it has done it job by now!
